Jordan Farmar says he’s going to be in the ear of Steve Nash all season
By David Miniel
As a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, I have to say it’s great to see Farmar back with the organization. I think he’s going to add depth to not only the point position but the bench.
Now that Nash has two guys who can man the position, he could get some extra rest this season as he’s getting up there in age, obviously. Here’s an interesting fact for you guys, the last time the Lakers won a championship, they went back to back and guess who was on that roster? Yup, Jordan Farmar.
Call me crazy but, maybe Farmar is the missing piece to the puzzle. They could bring back D-Fish and we could three-peat. Nah, all jokes aside. It’s great to see this guy back with the Lakers and we all know how excited he is. He bought out his own contract from a Turkish team in order to come back and play for the Lake Show.
Not only is he excited to be back with the Lakers, but he’s also excited to play in coach Mike D’Antoni’s system. Also having the chance to play with Steve Nash is pretty exciting for him too. He told reporters during media day according to Ramona Shelburne:
"“I’ve already told him I’m going to be in his ear everyday. I’m going to be like his son.”"
I have a good feeling that Farmar is going to have a great season.
