The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are unhappy with Josh Freeman since his benching and the quarterback is more than ready to part ways with his team. Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, who has been on a roll with his scoops this morning, is reporting that Freeman would like to be released from the team if they cannot find a trade partner.

Freeman believes that it is best for all parties involved to part ways and avoid creating a large distraction, so he is hoping that he will not be a member of the team sooner rather than later.

Things reached a boiling point today when the team listed Freeman as an inactive following his benching.

To really drive the point home, the team reportedly asked Freeman to watch the game from a suite rather than grace the sideline.

At this point, it is hard to imagine a team giving up anything to trade for Freeman, so his best option may be for the team to grant his wish and give him his release.
