7. Austin Pettis-WR-St. Louis Rams (1.2%)

Pettis continued to show a solid rapport with Sam Bradford out of the slot. He finished Sunday’s game against the Jags with four catches for 49 yards and a pair of touchdowns giving him four on the season which puts him in the top ten in the NFL.

He has been targeted at least five times in every Rams game although he hasn’t broken 80 yards yet. That average tells you the kind of routes he’s running are mostly over the middle and near the line of scrimmage. He’s still worth a look in PPR leagues, though, where the attention he gets on a weekly bases makes him playable in some matchups like last weeks.

The Houston defense allows fewer points per game to opposing WR than any other team in the league, so I would only start Pettis this week if there is no other option. However, because he gets so many targets especially around the end zone, Pettis is a great grab if you need to bolster your depth for upcoming weeks.
