NFL unveils new 2014 Pro Bowl uniforms (Photo)

The NFL is making some significant changes to the Pro Bowl and it is going to be interesting to see how they are received.
We had already known that the NFL would be using two team captains — Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders — to pick the teams in a draft format, along with the top two vote-getters that are set to be named team captains.
Now, when the game comes to Hawai’i, the teams will be dropping the traditional red and blue uniforms and instead be wearing some very vibrant new unis that will include neon orange and volt yellow, which are staple colors for Nike when they dress the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers.
Here are the new uniforms, courtesy of the NFL:
The only good change to the uniforms is that Nike will be using “achievement badges,” much like adidas debuted with the NBA a season ago.
The Pro Bowl probably believes that their fancy colored unis will be something that fans will want to buy, but I have a feeling they will be sorely mistaken. Also, every helmet in the league is going to clash with these uniforms, which is going to be very unappealing in the presentation.
