Buffalo Bills running back CJ Spiller has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury, but the good news for the team and their fans is that Spiller expects to be back to 100 percent soon as he takes things slowly.

“I can tell that it’s definitely healing,” said Spiller, via the team’s offical website. “I haven’t had any setback, so I’m just going to continue to do what I do and get treatment and take it day by day. It’s responding well.

“I think it’ll be something that’ll be healed up before the bye week. I don’t think it’s going to be something that’s going to linger into November. It’s getting better and better each week and as long as it continues to do that I’ll be fine. There are a couple of more hurdles that I have to get over, but I can definitely see the finish line of me getting back to 100 percent quickly.”

Spiller is a dynamic rusher and one of the key members of the Bills offense, especially with their current quarterback situation. So, the sooner that Spiller is able to get back to top form, the better it will be for the Bills as they look to rack up a few wins while they await the return of EJ Manuel.
