In a surprising move to say the least, the Houston Texans will be going with third-string quarterback Case Keenum this week as Matt Schaub is out with a foot injury:
In addition to this being Case Keenum's 1st career start, it will also be 1st time he's been active in a regular season game. #Texans

HOU going with the youngster, Case Keenum, as starting QB. Not surprised. They've been high on him. Might as well see what you've got

The Texans were losing by 25 points to the St. Louis Rams this past week when Schaub left the game, having completed 15/21 passes for 186 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Backup T.J. Yates finished the 38-13 loss for the Texans, but threw two interceptions and one of them was returned for a touchdown.
This apparently lead the team to skip over him and start Keenum instead.
