The Chicago Bears host the Washington Redskins in Week 7 of the NFL Schedule. Currently, the Bears sit in a tie essentially with the Detroit Lions for first place in the NFC North division with a 4-2 record. After winning the NFC East last year, the Washington Redskins are struggling to get going this year, and currently have a dismal 1-4 record.

“This team is the defending NFC (East) champs and we’re sitting here at 1-4 right now,” quarterback Robert Griffin III said, via ESPN. “We have to take that medicine and move on to the next week, learn from it and not put us in the tank.”

RG3 found himself in a bit of hot water over comments he made about trying to draw penalties along the side line of the field. He has back tracked saying that he doesn’t try to draw penalties. Shanahan reiterated the sentiments from his quarterback.

“In order to beat a team like Chicago, you’ve got to take it a day at a time and just concentrate on that football team,” Washington coach Mike Shanahan said. “If you get better as a group, then you’ve got a chance to win and at least that’s the formula that I look at.”
