Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali is having himself a great season and that continued on Sunday with 6 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble against the Houston Texans. After the game, Hali decided to celebrate with around 15 people who were his friends and family as they grabbed some grub at Fogo de Chao restaurant.

The bill that Hali and company racked up was over $1,800 with an automatic $300 tip included, but Hali wanted to do something a little extra.

According to KCTV5, Hali left an additional $1,000 tip for the staff to split.

It made our day. Hands down, it made our day,” Joshua Roan, who served Hali, said. “The staff was over the top. He was the last guest in the building. There was a lot of shouting and hollering after he left. We had to wait until he left. We had to keep it professional.

“He is having, I would say, his best year. Other players are holding up their end of the bargain just as much. It was definitely a celebration for him to come in and enjoy. When I talk to him, I tell him great game, but he is super humble.”

It is always cool to see players have moments like this where they help out those around them and use their money to make someone else’s day. Sure, they did earn it and they don’t need to be throwing it around to any and everyone, but it speaks volumes about your character when you don’t think twice about helping others out.
