Keegan Bradley fired a second round six under par 66 on Friday to take a four-shot lead into the weekend play at the CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur. Bradley started his day on the back nine where he put up two birdies, and one bogey, but it was after he made the turn that he made his move. A three birdie run starting at the fifth hole would get him in the clubhouse with the half-way lead.

First round leader Ryan Moore carded an even par 72 in the third tournament of the new season at the Kuala Lumpur Golf Club as the PGA Tour moves off-shore during the fall series. Moore couldn’t follow his brilliant opening-round 63 to hold off the Presidents Cup star on Friday. The putts that were dropping on Thursday were not finding the bottom of the cup on Friday.

The two more consistant players in Malaysia this week are Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat, and Chris Stroud from the US. Both fired matching 67’s and 69’s to remain eight under par, and five shots off the lead. Aphibarnrat played well during the 2013 season on the European Tour, and is looking to pick up a second win on his career, and his first on the PGA Tour. He comes to Malaysia as the dark-horse favorite.

Phil Mickelson is struggling with his golf swing in Malaysia again this week, and after two mediocre rounds, finds himself at three under par for the tournament. Lefty says he has struggled with his swing ever since winning his first Open Championship back in July. He has been working with his coach, Butch Harmon, but says nothing is working at this point.

Saturday’s action will get underway with an interesting leaderboard. Australian star, Marc Leishman fired the low round of the day on Friday carding a 65. The seven under par score moved him up 25 places into a tie for fifth place with Sergio Garcia. Six players are at six under par, and tied for seventh place that include President’s Cup star Hideki Matsuyama.
