Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller doubtful to play

Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller’s struggles have left the Bills offense struggling to generate points, and that’s been the biggest thing holding them back from having a better record this year. The team has also struggled to get Spiller the ball in space, and he just hasn’t looked like the same player. A nagging ankle has also hindered Spiller while limiting his touches to just 10-15 per game over the past few week.s
Marrone has already stated he’s thinking about sitting Spiller this week against the New Orleans Saints since he’s sat out the last two practices.
"“He wants to go, but we’ve got to make good decisions,” Marrone said, via the Bills’ official website. “He doesn’t feel as good in my opinion.”"
Well, it looks like they won’t get him going this week:
C.J. Spiller and Manny Lawson are listed as doubtful for Sunday. Jeff Tuel will be the backup QB.

It looks like C.J. Spiller is unlikely for Week 8. Fred Jackson to carry the mail. Good for Spiller - he needs to rest his ankle.
