Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings has spent the majority of the offseason talking about Aaron Rodgers and his former team the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are 4-2 and in first place in the division, the Vikings are 1-5 and in last in the NFC North division. It could be that rough start from the Vikings that has Jennings backing off his comments and changing his tune.

“If Aaron knows me like he’s known me the past seven years, then he knows I’m not one of those guys that wishes ill on anyone or just tries to stand out and be apart from the team,” Jennings said. “Hopefully, he knows that.”

Christian Ponder’s time as the Vikings quarterback seemed done after Cassel stepped in for him and they then signed Josh Freeman. Since Freeman was injured in last week’s game, Ponder is getting another shot at quarterback.

“It doesn’t matter who it is, we have to help him be successful and he has to help us be successful so it’s Christian this week, that’s who we’re rolling with, that’s who we’re rooting for,” Jennings said.
