Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant threw a temper tantrum not once, but twice, during Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Lions. The first one saw Dez Bryant yelling at a sitting Tony Romo. That drew the ire of FOX analyst Brian Billick.
“We talked about the class of Calvin Johnson,” Billick said. “This is the point Dez Bryant has to understand. This serves no purpose. If I’m the coach of the Cowboys you have to get this under control. This temper tantrum, I don’t know what else to call it, Dez Bryant, want to help your team? Grow up.”
The second tantrum cause him to be restrained by teammate DeMarcus Ware, who did not play and sat out with an injury. After the game he apparently hugged it out with tight end Jason Witten, who was the main recipient of the second tantrum. It came immediately following the Lions go-ahead score to win the game.
