I’m sure I’ve said this a couple times and not the only one who has said this but, this Pittsburgh Steelers team has been a surprise this season. Not in a good way.

Now this week’s game against the Oakland Raiders is a must win for this 2-4 Steelers team who still need to prove themselves to the rest of the league.

Yeah they’ve won a couple Super Bowls in the last decade, but we’re talking about the way their team looks right now. You can’t continue to live in the past when your team struggled against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1, then dropping to the Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings in the next couple weeks.

The downside to this team is their running game. They’re currently ranked 27th in the league in rushing offense but their passing defense has been solid so far. Roethlisberger has still been able to make plays but it hasn’t been enough to get the victories they need.

Alright, now let’s get to this inactive list real quick.

Today’s inactive’s for this Pittsburgh Steelers team include, wide receiver Markus Wheaton, quarterback Landry Jones, corner-back Curtis Brown, tight end Richard Gordon, linebacker Kion Wilson, linebacker Chris Carter and nose tackle Hebron Fangupo.

Wide receiver Markus Wheaton is listed week to week with a broken finger.
