Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson was recently given a personal pizza cutter and a year’s supply of frozen-pizza coupons by DiGiorno. As you probably remember, Burleson broke his arm in a car crash last month when he attempted to protect one of his carryout pizzas from sliding onto the floor of his car. The fine folks at DiGiorno, clearly concerned about Burleson’s safety, have now made it so he’ll never have to leave the house again.

Here’s part of the letter that accompanied the gift:

"Hello Nate, We hope you are feeling better after your recent car accident and are on the road to recovery! DiGiorno Pizza understands the challenges that come with carryout and delivery so we’re sending you a gift along with a year supply of DiGiorno pizza so you can skip carryout."

If you’re in college and want to save money on your weekly and/or daily pizza binges, I highly recommend* you break one of your arms and hit up the DiGiorno company right now. They seem to be in a giving mood.

*(Please do not actually do this.)
