Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the Buffalo Bills are open to trading safety Jairus Byrd, but they are not actively shopping him around the league:

Byrd has intercepted 18 passes in four NFL seasons. He’s also recorded 308 tackles. He has played every game in each of the last three seasons for Buffalo.

Bills General Manager Doug Whaley previously said this season he’s not actively shopping safety Jairus Byrd, but did admit he’s open to trading him:

"“Our focus right now is Jairus getting on the field and playing the best he can for the Buffalo Bills,” Whaley said. “We are not actively on the phone hammering out trying to look for a trade. By the same token, (team president) Russ Brandon would listen if someone wanted to trade. “So if the phone rings, we’re going to listen. But that doesn’t mean we’re out trying to trade.”"
