One of the biggest names in the trade rumors circulating the NFL is Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen. Fox Sports Jay Glazer reported earlier today that the Vikings were “certainly open to fielding offers” for him. They’ve even reportedly had a few talks with teams.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has a conflicting report. Rapoport says that the Vikes are not shopping him or looking to trade him. You could expect the usual front office rhetoric of ‘we’ll always listen’ to offers. Some team could throw out a deal too sweet to turn down.

For now it looks like the Vikings are intent on keeping Allen unless one such deal comes along.
