Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is dealing with a hamstring issue, which leaves his status for Week 9 in doubt. Foster was unable to practice on Wednesday as he spent time with trainers, so we are unsure of whether or not he will suit up when the team takes on the division rival Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night.

For those who are worried about if Foster will play, we should expect some news later in the week.

“Arian went out and stretched, did some stuff and did some walkthrough. And then he worked with the trainers,” Kubiak said, via Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle. “I think he’s going to do everything he can to be there. But I think it’ll be an end of the week decision, so we’ll see. He did do some things, just not with the team once we got going.

“I think it’s still going to be end of the week. We’ll see how he comes out [Thursday], how sore is he.”

Ben Tate is also banged up with sore ribs, but he seems more likely to play.

If the Texans are able to get one or both of the running backs suited up when they face the Colts, quarterback Case Keenum will be breathing a heavy sigh of relief.
