This St. Louis Rams backfield has featured fresh faces at the running back position, who have carried the entire work load rushing wise, for the first time since Steven Jackson left.

I understand it was only a year, but Jackson was the premiere running back for the St. Louis Rams for a very long time. It’s still weird seeing them play and not watching that tall number 39 bursting through open holes or running somebody over.

Anyways, fellow FanSided writer Jason Marcum posted the other day that Zac Stacy of the Rams suffered an ankle injury during Monday’s loss against the Seattle Seahawks.

The team is hoping the injury isn’t that serious, because right now they’re already hurting with Sam Bradford being out for the remainder of the season. Right now his status for Sunday is still in doubt, so Cunningham and Daryl Richardson will be splitting the carries until Stacy is able to get himself back to 100 percent.
