NFL Standings after Week 9

Another week of NFL action came to an end on Monday night and there has been some movement in the standings. In the NFC East the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles both won to stay in first and second in the league. In the NFC North, the Chicago Bears beat the Green Bay Packers to force a three-way tie with the Detroit Lions for first place in the division.

New Orleans loss to the New York Jets, but stayed atop the NFC South. The Carolina Panthers beat the Atlanta Falcons and pulled closer to the Saints in the standings. Seattle nearly lost on Monday night but stole back the win to stay atop the NFC and the NFC West. No one was really challenging them and if they lost they would’ve stayed on top of both.

In the AFC East, everyone but the Buffalo Bills won. The New England Patriots stay atop the division and the New York Jets moved above .500. The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the Miami Dolphins and lost ground in their lead over the Cleveland Browns, who won, in the AFC North.

In the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts pulled out the win to stay in the lead of that division. In the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos stayed at 1 and 2 in the division.
