The University of Alabama football team has been the target of a trend of signs around the country. Having been a dominating program under Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide are presumed to be a lock for the BCS National Championship game.

That leaves the rest of the country fighting for second and a chance to knock off Alabama. This has spawned a series of signs and T-shirts proclaiming “We Want Bama.”

Even Ball State has had a “We Want Bama” sign show up at a game against Central Michigan. They definitely don’t have a shot though.

Most notably, Oregon fans have used that sign repeatedly before losing to Stanford last night and essentially dropping out of the race. Alabama fans have noticed, they’ve made their own signs proclaiming they want an NFL team.

This fan struck back at Oregon though with a clever sign that reads “We Want Oregon’s Cheerleaders.” It could’ve been better if he had the …. behind Oregon instead of in front of it, in my opinion. He has a point though.
