CBS’ Shannon Sharpe gives his take on Incognito-Martin situation (Video)

It’s completely understandable if you’re sick of hearing about the alarming situation involving the Miami Dolphins’ Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin. However, it has brought to light some glaring issues within the NFL world.

When it was just a case of bullying, some may not have seen it as all that bad. But, when the racial side of it got brought in, then it changed everything. Incognito’s constant use of the N-word, both in and out of the locker room, is completely unacceptable in today’s world. You can’t even explain it as being part of the “culture” of the NFL, because it’s not even acceptable in everyday living.

There have been many takes on all of this from a wide range of people throughout the sports media world. The best of all, though, may have come from former NFL All-Pro tight end and three-time Super Bowl winner, Shannon Sharpe.

Sharpe is currently a member of the team on CBS’ weekly pregame show, the NFL Today. On today’s show, he had some words about all of this, and like I said, it probably is the best take yet:
