The New York Jets could have two important members of their offense back when they travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills Sunday.

“I think he’ll play,” Jets head coach Rex Ryan told Rich Cimini of ESPN.com when asked about Holmes. “He looks good to me. I certainly hope so.”

Holmes hasn’t played since a 38-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans back on September 29.

On the season, Holmes has 10 receptions for 243 yards and a touchdown. He scored that touchdown in a 27-20 victory over the Bills on September 22. In total, he had five receptions for 154 yards against the Bills.

Tight end Kellen Winslow is returning from a four-game suspension for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances last week. On the season, Winslow has 17 receptions for 169 yards and two touchdowns.

Jets’ quarterback Geno Smith told Cimni “it puts a smile on my face to get these guys back.”

The surprising Jets are 5-4 and are in the hunt for a wild card bid.

The Jets and Bills will kickoff from Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo, New York at 1:00 pm EST Monday.
