TMZ claims FSU QB Jameis Winston is being investigated for sexual assault

TMZ is at it again. This time, they are going after Florida State Seminoles’ superstar quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston’s Seminoles are four wins away from playing in the BCS National Championship game and Winston is the clear Heisman front runner.

According to TMZ, Winston is being investigated for sexual assault.

"Law enforcement and other sources tell TMZ …. a woman filed a sexual assault complaint with the Tallahassee PD on December 7, 2012.   She claims the alleged sexual assault was commited with the use of “physical force.”According to the police report, the motive for the alleged crime was “sexual gratification.”  The alleged victim says drinking was involved before the incident.The police report says on the day in question, someone called the cops at 4:01 AM.  When police arrived, we’re told there were photos taken of the alleged victim’s injuries as well as physical evidence collected."

This is obviously a site known to jump to gun and look anywhere for a story. The supposed crime is also almost a year old, so that likely means there have been nothing but dead ends if there is indeed an investigation into Winston.

It is something to monitor, but there aren’t many connections to Winston. As Tomahawk Nation points out, the unidentified suspect is between 5’9 and 5’11, and 240 pounds. Winston is 6’4.
