The Minnesota Vikings are getting ready to take on the toughest team in the NFC in the Seattle Seahawks.

If the Vikings have any hopes of winning, they’re going to need Adrian Peterson 100 percent healthy and ready to suit up against that stingy defense that’s been off and on this season. Somehow this Seattle team continues to find ways to win.

Their defense has given up a lot of big plays this season, which has resulted in only one loss against the Indianapolis Colts, but they struggled against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for awhile.

This Sunday’s game will featured Percy Harvin going up against his former team in his new uniform and stadium.

With both teams prepared to go to battle on Sunday, Adrian Peterson sat out during today’s practice with a groin injury. Peterson helped the Vikings upset the Washington Redskins last Thursday with 20 carries for 75 yards and two touchdowns.

Peterson has a total of 786 rushing yards this season, so that rushing record may be out of reach this season.

Wide receiver Greg Jennings was limited during practice today but is expected to play against the Seahawks on Sunday.
