Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki has his bag stolen

The Dallas Mavericks are currently on the road for a pair of games in Florida. The Mavs will take on the Miami Heat tonight before traveling north to take on the Orlando Magic.

When traveling one of the biggest fears is having your luggage lost, or even worse, stolen. When traveling on a chartered plane that is exclusively for the team, you shouldn’t have to worry about that.

Yet somehow, someone stole Dirk Nowitzki’s luggage. What was in his bag is unknown. There could’ve been personal items, electronics, toiletries and who knows what. One thing is for certain, it contained some clothes designed for a really tall person.

Dirk seemed to be taking it in stride and handling it well. Nowitzki even joked that he hoped the thief was tall so he could “rock his sweet clothes.” Though it’d be more likely to see it turn up on eBay.
