Thursday night, the game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors had a thrilling finish. Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook threw up a three-pointer to give Oklahoma a one-point lead with 2.3 seconds in the game. Everyone was thinking the Thunder had won short of some Derek Fisher like miracle.

But then, a Derek Fisher like miracle we got.

The Warriors took a full time out and advanced the ball. Klay Thompson passes it in to a cutting Andre Iguodala who throws up a running, corner fadeaway jumper. The kind we’ve seen Kobe throw up in the past. It goes in as time expires and the Golden State Warriors win. It looks like a 3 in the GIF below but was actually a long 2-point bucket.

“Those are the moments when your mind is just racing,” said Iguodala, via ESPN. “When Klay (Thompson) threw the pass, I was thinking I could get to the basket. As soon as the ball hit my hands, my feet were set just to catch, turn around and shoot — something I worked on a lot throughout my career. The situation was there and everything just worked out.”

The Thunder were stunned.

“It was fun until the last shot,” Kevin Durant said.

“I don’t even know what happened,” Westbrook added. “I was guarding Curry down in the corner, so I’m not exactly sure.”

The GIF below shows everything. Westbrook and Iguoldala’s shots.
