The San Francisco 49ers head to Maryland looking for a win over the Washington Redskins. The NFC Wild Card race is extremely tight and they need a win to keep up. The two spots would go to the Panthers (8-3) and the Cardinals (7-4) at the moment. The 49ers would improve to 7-4 with a win.

The game features two of the leagues best mobile quarterbacks. 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick is  fourth in rushing among NFL quarterbacks with 335 yards. Redskins’ Robert Griffin III is third with 345 yards.

“If you’re talking about Robert or if you’re talking about a guy like Kaepernick, everybody comes from different systems and when you go to the National Football League and you’re working with a drop-back passing game and you haven’t done a lot of that, it takes some repetition,” Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said. “Whoever has been in those shoes realizes that it doesn’t happen overnight.”
