2. Michael Crabtree-WR-San Francisco 49ers (12.0%)

If you can practice some delayed gratification with your waiver wire pickup this week, Crabtree is the best long-term option who is widely available. He hasn’t played a snap this season and has been on IR for the whole year, but is expected to be activated this week (possibly even as early as today) as the 49ers get ready for the final push to the playoffs.

San Francisco will be playing meaningful games, and Crabtree looks like he could be the final piece of the puzzle to get the ‘Niners back where they want to be offensively. He’ll be extremely risky at first, but he should contribute down the stretch if you can wait a week to see how much he’s used.

This week, San Francisco starts a pair of key divisional battles which will both be at home against the Rams and Seahawks. After that (which would be fantasy playoffs for most), Crabtree will face the Bucs, Falcons, and Cardinals.
