The New York Jets are preparing themselves for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders before they take off to take on the Carolina Panthers.

Wide receiver Josh Cribbs was placed on the injured reserve today with a torn pectoral muscle on Tuesday.

According to ESPN.com, Santonio Holmes was limited during practice on Wednesday after only playing just three snaps against the Miami Dolphins. This may be Holmes last season with the Jets.

With Holmes being limited during practice, Jeremy Kerley did have a full practice. Kerley missed the last three games with a elbow injury but should be able to play this Sunday against the Raiders.

The Jets really needs this guy back in the lineup as he leads the team in catches with 28 and receiving yards with 347. Not that much production from that group of receivers.

Tight end Kellen Winslow did not practice today. It’s nothing serious, just a rest day for him. In his previous game against the Dolphins, Winslow only caught three passes for 27 yards in the loss.
