Kyle Korver Sets Record For Consecutive Games With A Three Pointer
By Ryan Donoho
Kyle Korver came into Friday night’s game against the Cavaliers tied with Dana Barros for the most consecutive games with a three pointer at 89. Despite what Darren Rovell thinks, this is a big deal, and people care.
In the first quarter of the game, Korver hit a three to break the record, and he now stands alone with 90 straight games with a three, and it is really a great feat. As a guy who covers the Hawks, I must say that Korver is one of the nicest players I have ever talked too, and with the way he’s playing, the games could start piling up.
The reactions are starting to flood in on twitter:
The Hawks are one of the best teams in the East this season (that’s not saying much), and their offense under Mike Budenholzer has looked like a machine. Korver is shooting a blistering 51% from beyond the arc, and his presence makes the offense much better.

Congratulations to Kyle Korver on breaking the record.
