Cleveland Browns safety T.J. Ward tackled New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski low when making a tackle. Ward made clear contact with Gronkowski’s right knee. Gronk laid on the ground and had his hands on his helmet. Eventually Gronk was carted off and taken to the locker room.

While one of the Patriots best players season was hanging in the balance, the guilty party walked past Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. He clearly wasn’t thrilled and gave Ward a death stare as he walked past the coach.

There wasn’t a flag on the play and the Patriots announced that Gronk would not be returning to the game. He’ll likely get an MRI to determine the extent of the damage on Monday.
