It’s no secret that there’s some serious drama going on in Washington right now with the Redskins and the drama is apparently effecting everyone’s morale. We knew that this was likely the case but NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport gave a report on Thursday Night Football that made things sound a lot more depressing than we thought.

According to Rapoport report, it’s not just Mike Shanahan who thinks he’s on the outs in Washington, his entire coaching staff feels that way.

We know that heads are going to roll and that this is sadly the uncomfortable calm before the bloodshed ensues at the hands of Daniel Snyder. Mike Shanahan is as good as gone and so too is his defensive coordinator who is leading one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Despite showing no loyalty whatsoever to his father, it’s still looking like Kyle Shanahan is going to be out as offensive coordinator too.

But as Keith Olbermann pointed out last night, Snyder can clear the coaching staff but doing so just makes it harder to find people who don’t want to work for you next year to fill the positions. The axe is going to fall and fall hard in Washington and it wouldn’t be surprising to see everyone except RGIII be cut, released or fired.
