The Denver Broncos loss to the San Diego Chargers on Thursday Night Football opened the door for the Kansas City Chiefs to even things up atop the AFC West. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they will once again be without starting left tackle Branden Albert on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

Albert originally injured his knee back in Week 13, but he has yet to be cleared for a return to action and he has once again been ruled out for Week 15.

The team announced that Albert would miss the game on Friday afternoon.

With Albert out of action, the Chiefs will once again turn to Donald Stephenson to protect the blind side of quarterback Alex Smith. 2013 No. 1 overall pick Eric Fisher will remain at right tackle.
