Kevin Love continued to play at an MVP level Sunday evening, scoring 30 points, grabbing nine rebounds, dishing out four assists and blocking three shots as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 101-93.

Nikola Pekovic had 19 points and five rebounds and J.J. Barea came off the bench to score 15 points and dish out five assists.

Mike Conley led the Grizzlies with 28 points, five rebounds and three assists. Zach Randolph scored 20 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had five assists. John Leuer had 15 points and Jerryd Bayless scored 14.

Love hit four of the Timberwolves’ 12 three-pointers as they outscored the Grizzlies by 21 from beyond the arc.

The Timberwolves started off hot, taking an 11-point first quarter lead. The Timberwolves couldn’t put the Grizzlies away despite several opportunities to do so throughout the game. The Grizzlies cut the lead to three with just 2:27 to play, but on the next two possessions, Pekovic was fouled and he made all four free throws to put the game out of reach.

The Timberwolves improve to 12-12 while the Grizzlies continue to struggle at 10-13.
