According to Bills head coach Doug Marone, the sprained left knee quarterback EJ Manuel suffered in Sunday’s win over the Jags will be “OK.”  From ESPN,

"“[He] went through the whole game [with it],” Marrone said Monday. “I don’t feel like it’s going to be anything. We have time. He’s already watching the Miami tape now to get himself ready.”"

Mathematically speaking, the Bills are officially eliminated from playoff contention this season. So in a sense, it may be wise for the Bills to shut down Manuel for he remainder of the season, so they don’t risk any further injury to his knee. However, Manuel already missed a big portion of this season due in part to a sprained LCL in his right knee.

Another idea for the Bills would be to let Manuel get more reps and game time in the regular season, because he missed so much time this year.

If you were Doug Marone, what would do? Would you shut Manuel down for the rest of the season? Or would you keep in in the game to get more NFL experience?
