Golf Digest recently came out with a slideshow of the “Best Backyard Golf Holes.” The list is compiled by Golf Digest contributor Alex Myers.

The backyards of pro golfers Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Vijay Singh all made the sildeshow.  Tiger Woods has the best facility with four full-sized greens dotting his Jupiter, Florida estate.  Mickelson’s backyard green is in Rancho Santa Fe, California, and Singh’s green is in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

In my opinion, the most impressive location is the green along the coast in Pebble Beach, California.  The owner is most likely a member of the Cypress Point Club.

The home of Mike Fascitelli in Guilford, CT is a close second.  Fascitelli has easy boat access to his green.

Dave Pelz’s home in Austin, Texas is another favorite because of the water hazard included in his backyard design.  However, I think every home is my favorite because if I lived there, I would have my own practice facility.  Does it get any better?
