NFL Standings Week 15: Divisional races become closer

Things got interesting as the NFL season inched closer to the end. In the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles lost giving the Dallas Cowboys an opportunity to catch them but they blew a 23-point lead to the Green Bay Packers.

The Chicago Bears moved into first place in the NFC North. If the Detroit Lions win on Monday Night Football, they’ll reclaim the spot. The NFC South stayed put as far as first and second place, but the Carolina Panthers won to pull even with the New Orleans Saints at 10-4 and set up an exciting end of season race. The Saints get the nod over the Panthers in head-to-head.

In the NFC West, the Seattle Seahawks are still in first by two games and the San Francisco 49ers is clinging to a Wild Card berth.

In the AFC East, the Miami Dolphins got a win over the New England Patriots to narrow the gap to two games. The Cincinnati Bengals lost on Sunday and a Baltimore Ravens win on Monday Night Football would narrow that gap to one game.

The Indianapolis Colts have already clinched the AFC South.

The Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs are level at 11-3, but the Broncos get the top spot based on head-to-head. Could be a down to the wire finish in that division as well.
