Hello everybody and welcome to FanSided’s coverage of WWE Monday Night RAW! Tonight’s episode is LIVE from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas! Tonight is surely set to be an action filled night after an exciting Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay per view that featured one of the biggest championship matches in recent years.

If you guys haven’t heard the news, the ‘Face of the WWE’ Randy Orton defeated John Cena in the Champion vs Champion’s match which unified both major titles. Now the company decided to change the name of the title from ‘The Unified Champion’ to the ‘WWE World Heavyweight Champion’. No idea why they had an interaction decision with the WWE Universe when it came to naming both merged titles, but it sounds a lot better than what as picked.

The show kicks off with a video montage of some footage from the RAW’s leading up to Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Mainly talking about the two major championships that were once held by the greatest Superstars of all time, guys like The Rock, Booker T, Bruno Sammartino, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, etc. After the video montage ends, the camera opens up with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H standing in the middle of the ring.

Everybody in the locker room standing on the stage, including the man who lost the World Heavyweight Championship, John Cena. Stephanie and her husband talk about how the history of the company has changed. Everybody who laces up their boots and pulls on a pair of tights will look forward to becoming the future WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Not sure how long this championship will last, but it’s great to have some change.

They introduce Randy who comes out with both championships over each shoulder. The men on the stage part as Orton stands at the top of the ramp locking eyes with the man he just defeated almost 24 hours ago. He walks down the ramp with both titles raised above his head, standing at the top of the world.

Orton stands in the middle of the ring with both titles raised above his head once again, with Stephanie McMahon wearing a cheesy grin on her face. Orton talks about how the WWE Universe didn’t have faith in him winning the most important match in WWE history. Talking about how the fans were talked into a lie, about how he was handed everything in his career.

Randy goes onto talking about how Superstars of the past have never accomplished what he has accomplished in his career. He turns his attention to the rest of the roster and talks about how he is so much better than everybody on the roster.

John Cena interrupts and calls Orton an idiot.  He talks about how he’s not going to ruin his moment, but he has trouble speaking and would translate for the WWE Universe. Cena pulls off his typical Face promo that results in sarcasm. Cena mentions how Stone Cold Steve Austin said that now that he holds that championship, he needs to put up or shut up.

The banter between Orton and Cena continue as I suspected it would. Cena proposes a match that involves Daniel Bryan taking on Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The crowd gets behind the idea, chanting ‘Yes! Yes! Yes!’.

Cena says that Orton is scared, until he’s cut off by Orton who says he doesn’t have to listen to anybody and that he’s not scared of anyone. Stephanie cuts off Randy and tells him that he has to listen to ‘Us’. Us being Stephanie and Triple H.

They talk about how Daniel Bryan was voted as WWE Superstar of the Year during the Slammy Awards. Triple H talks about how they always listen to the WWE Universe and makes the match of Randy Orton taking on Daniel Bryan.

Bryan steps further on the ramp and gets the ‘Yes! Yes! Yes!’ chants going as Triple H’s theme song hits.
