The Sacramento Kings may be fun to watch, but they aren’t winning a lot of games. Rudy Gay has been more efficient since he was traded to the Kings, and that is a positive sign. On Saturday night, we saw a match up of two young teams that are fun to watch, and they gave us a great game.

The Magic had the lead in the second quarter, and they were getting out and running the break well. Rudy Gay got hot at the end of the second quarter, and the Kings trailed by just two, 58-56. They teams pretty much stayed even from that point on, but the Kings got better contributions from their young talent, and that was the difference.

Marcus Thornton got hot in the final quarter, and he hit three straight three-pointers to score nine of his 15 points. That spurt got them up by 12 late, and they were able to hold the lead. They won by five, 105-100.

Isiah Thomas had 23 points and 9 assists, Rudy gay added 23 points, and DeMarcus Cousins finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds for Sacramento. Tobias Harris had 21 points for Orlando, and Aaron Afflalo continued his great play with 26 points. The Kings are now 8-18 on the season, and the Magic fall to 8-19.
