Dion Waiters to miss tonight’s game vs. Detroit Pistons with wrist injury

When the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Detroit Pistons tonight, they will be without shooting guard Dion Waiters as he will miss his third consecutive game battling right wrist tendinitis, head coach Mike Brown said at shootarounds. All of this is according to Jodie Valade of The Plain Dealer.
This season, Waiters is averaging 14.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. In the last two games that Waiters has missed, the Cleveland Cavaliers are 1-1.
Head coach Mike Brown says about the injury:
"But there’s nothing I can do about it. We just follow what the doctors say, and Dion follows what the doctors say, and we go from there.”"
In terms of Waiters’ production, Brown said:
"The one thing Dion gives us is a nice punch off the bench with the ability to play pick and roll and create shots not only for himself, but for his teammates, too.”"
Without Waiters tonight expect Kyrie Irving to step his game another level as he will be going against Brandon Jennings but also expect someone else on the team to step up. That could be Jarrett Jack, C.J. Miles, or Matthew Dellavedova.
