The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Dallas Mavericks 119-112 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.  The Clippers improved to 23-12, and the Mavericks fell to 19-14.

Chris Paul left the game in the third quarter with a shoulder sprain.  Despite losing their floor general, the Clippers scored the final nine points to beat the Mavs.

DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin had monstrous double-doubles.  Jordan finished with 25 points, 18 rebounds, and three blocks.  Griffin scored 25 points along with 15 rebounds and five assists.  Darren Collison made ten of ten free throws, and finished with 22 points and four assists.  Before Paul left the game, he scored 19 points and dropped six dimes.

Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavs with 24 points along with four rebounds and four assists.  Shawn Marion added 20 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Monta Ellis scored 13 points and dished out nine assists.

Down 110-103 with 4:05 to go, the Clippers went on a 16-2 run to finish the game. Considering the Clippers did not have Chris Paul to run the offense, they showed major guts.

Next game: The Clippers play at San Antonio tomorrow at 8:30 pm ET.  The Mavericks play the Knicks on Sunday at 7:30 pm ET on NBATV.
