The future of Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak remained up in the air one week after the conclusion of the regular season, but it looks like he could be reaching some resolution soon. According to a report from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Munchak will be traveling from Houston to meet with the Titans brass — including CEO Tommy Smith and General Manager Ruston Webster — on Friday morning.

Mortensen wrote:

While you never like to see a man lose his job, the harsh reality of the situation is that this does not look good for Munchak.

There is still a chance that he could hang on to his job after the meeting, but signs are beginning to point towards the Titans organization looking for a new head coach in 2014.
