The San Francisco 49ers are preparing to roll into Green Bay to take on the Packers in what will be one of the coldest games in NFL Playoff history.

The weather report for today is supposed to be -13 degrees with a windchill of -49. That’s dangerously cold. I’m a guy who loves cold weather, but you wouldn’t catch me out in that kind of weather for four hours.

Anyways, today’s match up will close out the first round of the playoffs and it should be an entertaining game. San Francisco has gotten the best of the Packers lately and beat them the last time they were in Green Bay.

The 49ers also started off the year with a victory over the NFC North champions. San Fran’s defense is going to take a decent hit today with left corner Carlos Rogers being ruled out. That will leave Eric Wright to replace him, which will be an interesting match up when it comes to covering Randall Cobb or Jordy Nelson.

Here’s a look at the inactive list for the San Francisco 49ers.

Corner-back Carlos Rodgers

Tight end Derek Carrier

Linebacker Nick Moody

Guard Ryan Seymour

Defensive Tackle Quinton Dial

Guard Joe Looney

Wide Receiver Jon Baldwin
