The Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints are preparing to go to battle for the second time this year. It was a lopsided match up the first time around as the Seahawks bulldozed through Drew Brees and the Saints.

Hopefully it won’t have the same result considering it’s the playoffs. I guess I expect almost every playoff game to be close and come down to the final possession of the game. But this could turn out ugly for the New Orleans Saints today. Anyways, the Seattle Seahawks are one of the toughest teams to beat when they’re the host of the game.

They have one of the loudest crowds in the league and have some solid talent at every position no matter where they are on the depth chart.

This team proved to be the best in both the NFC West and the conference itself before heading into the playoffs. Now all they need to do is win two games and they’ll be in the Super Bowl for the first time since 2005 match up against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On a side note, Percy Harvin will play.

Now let’s get down to the inactive list for the number one seed Seattle Seahawks.

INACTIVE

Christine Michael – Running Back

Bryan Walters – Wide Receiver

K.J. Wright – Linebacker

Caylin Hauptmann – Offensive Tackle

James Carpenter – Offensive Tackle

Benson Mayowa – Defensive End

Jordan Hill – Defensive Tackle
