After a lot of back-and-forth speculation since the college football season ended for the LSU Tigers with their Outback Bowl win over the Iowa Hawkeyes back on New Year’s Day, running back Jeremy Hill announced that he will make his decision as to whether or not enter the 2014 NFL Draft on Monday.

There were recently indications that Hill would return to school in 2014 for his senior season, but that’s all they were were indications. He has yet to formally announce anything.

Recently, Les Miles and the Tigers snagged the best running back product out of high school since Adrian Peterson in Leonard Fournette, which led some to believe that Hill may factor that in to his decision in some way.

Hill has been the key piece of the LSU offense for the last two seasons, rushing for 2,156 yards and 28 touchdowns, and he has the combination of size, power and breakaway speed that scouts in the NFL are looking for.

We’ll know on Monday whether or not the NFL will get to see his talents in 2014, or if they’ll have to wait one more year.
