Texas Longhorns tight end Josh Cochran made the transition from offensive tackle, but he will not get the opportunity to continue his playing career in Austin. Cochran took to social media to announce that he would be calling it quits due to chronic shoulder issues.

Cochran wrote:

Cochran played 30 games over the course of three years with the Longhorns, but the shoulder injuries were always something that slowed him down.

With Cochran’s career now over, the Longhorns will have just one returning starter along the offensive line.
