With the news that Ken Whisenhunt has left his job as offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers to accept the head coaching job with the Tennessee Titans, many were wondering how his staff would fill up.

One thing we do know is that the Titans won’t be relying on their offensive coordinator to call plays, because Whisenhunt plans on taking those responsibilities himself “unless somebody tells me I can’t.”

It wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary for a head coach to call his own plays and Whisenhunt has had success doing so in the past, so Titans fans will have nothing to worry about.
