Denver store takes shot at Patriots QB Tom Brady, says he ‘drinks appletinis’ (Photo)

The Denver Broncos are hosting the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game this weekend, and local businesses are vocally supporting their team. Sometimes supporting your team means taking shots at the opponents, and one liquor store set its sights on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Whether  or not Brady drinks Appletinis is unconfirmed, but it is still a funny sign. Of course taking shots at Brady is easy, especially when he is modeling Ugg boats. Brady is also embracing the under dog role the Patriots unusually find themselves in this weekend.

“I’m sure no one’s going to pick us to win this week,” said Brady. “We’ve had our backs against the wall for a while. Really, the whole season we’ve lost players, and teams have really counted us out.”

Still it should be a thrilling game.

“It’s going to a barnburner,” Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway said.
