Who do you think about when it comes to one of the hardest hitting safeties to ever play this game? Me personally, I think about Brian Dawkins. Dawkins has put the fear of god in so many players in this league, it’s unbelievable.

There’s a bunch of clips on YouTube of him putting everything he has into his hits and he has never failed to deliver. Not only was he the hardest hitting safety in history, but he had a lot of energy. He also had one of the most unique field entrances I’ve ever seen. Well besides Ray Lewis and his pre-game dance.

Now if anybody is able to comment on how soft this league has gotten over the years, it’s this man. Just a little while ago, Dawkins sent out a Tweet after San Francisco was flagged for a hit put on tight end Luke Wilson.

The penalty handed Seattle an extra 15 yards and a first down.

When the flag was thrown, Dawkins sent out a Tweet that I’m sure everybody would agree with. He mentioned the NFL, but not in a nice way. Here’s a look at the Tweet from the future Hall of Fame safety.
