In the season of NBA trade rumors, we tend to hear lots of big names mentioned, as well as teams who are looking to build for the future. One of those teams is the Philadelphia 76ers, who have been rumored to be shopping Thaddeus Young, Spencer Hawes and Evan Turner.

But while the Sixers may be looking to trade their three veterans, Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times reports that the team is no rush to pull the trigger on a deal.

"But don’t be stunned if Hinkie only trades one — or maybe even none — of the three by the deadline. What’s the rush? If nobody is willing to pay Hinkie what he perceives is fair value, he doesn’t have to do anything."

The Sixers are trying to secure more first-round picks ahead of the draft this year so that they can build a core of young players. They already have Nerlens Noel and Michael Carter-Williams on roster and could add two or three more young talents in the first-round if all goes as planned.

In order to pull that off though, the Sixers would need to trade all three of their current trade chips, and that may result in just two picks outside of the lottery. Still, the team seems determined to move some players for picks, there just doesn’t seem to be a rush to do so.
